What Poptart is, plainly.
Poptart turns a photo into a price range, by text. Text one photo and “sell this” and Poptart identifies the item, then comes back with a price range — from sold comps when it can find them, a model estimate labeled as such when it can’t. No app to install, and no typing a description first.
It works over the Messages app you already use, or WhatsApp. No app, no account to create, no separate interface.
What it will not do
It only estimates. Nothing is listed, posted, sold, or shipped for you. You get a price range back and decide what to do with it.
Comps aren’t always there. The sold-comps lookup depends on a paid third-party data source, and that data isn’t always available — right now most ranges come from a labeled model estimate rather than pulled comps.
Estimates, not appraisals. Treat the range as a starting point. Unusual items, poor photos, and thin comp data all widen the margin for error.
Status
Early access. There’s no price yet, and selling the item — listing it, negotiating, shipping it — is still on you.
